SailCats use a range of catamarans, favouring the Hobie Pacific 18 for
adult groups. With the addition of cruising side wings the seating area
is spacious and comfortable. The large volume hulls with sealed buoyancy
make the boat very stable and virtually unsinkable.Unbelievable speed and performance or gentle cruising in lighter winds the Pacific 18 is the perfect performance cruiser.
Smaller catamarans for two people are available to hire to anyone with
appropriate sailing experience. R.Y.A. level 2 should be adequate. Costs are as follows:
Catamaran hire £30.00 per hour
Wetsuits and safety equipment are available to hire on an hourly basis.
